BECOME AN OMAHA FREEMASON

Freemasonry is the largest and oldest fraternal organization in the world. With over 3 million members worldwide we aim to "make good men better" by teaching values based on great universal truths with metaphors from geometry and architecture.

Our lodge dedicates itself internally to self improvement, and externally to charitable contribution and labors.

Why 288?

Why 288?

Why 288?

Omaha Lodge #288 has been around since 1915. We first started as a lodge for traveling sales men and met on the weekends, the only available time these men were free. Today we have changed a lot but we haven't lost sight of our masonic principles.

We are a lodge with a wide range of members from men in their 20s to 70s. 288 continues to grow each year and is excited to welcome you.

Many lodges forget one of the most important aspects of masonry that we specifcally choose to elevate. Fraternity. Our lodge meets every Tuesday night, and once we conclude our masonic rituals or practice we don't just go home. Many brothers will be found spending time afterwards in our masonic hall, eating, drinking, and socializing. This helps us cement a higher level of brotherhood.
